I hope you had a wonderful New Year and have enjoyed this first week of 2017 so far. I am getting so excited about this year already. I can just feel that big things are going to happen!
I have to be honest and let you know that this is a relatively new feeling for me. There have been many years that I have felt like crap this time of year. I struggled with depression for many years. And have felt the effects of SAD (seasonal affective disorder).
It was through the process of taking my health back, that I discovered the root causes of these symptoms and struggles and learned that I didn’t HAVE to be SAD just because it’s the middle of winter.
I learned that my depression and symptoms of SAD were due to biochemical imbalance that I could actually fix with proper nutrition and lifestyle practices.
When I began to manage my digestive problems, fix my nutrient deficiencies, and correct my biochemical imbalances I was able to crawl out of that dark hole of depression (which always got darker this time of year), and have more “good days” than “SAD days”.
I have spent 10 years researching and learning about Holistic Nutrition. I became so passionate about it that I decided to make a career of it so I could help others have the same transformative experiences that I have had in my health…and so that I can teach people that they don’t have to be SAD just because it’s dark, rainy and cold outside.
It felt amazing to empower myself and to now be in full control of my health. I have learned so much over the last 10 years about health and natural healing, and my hope is that I can support you this year in helping you take your health back.
